PU is a synthetic material that is as close as you can get to the real thing, it doesn't look cheap but maintains a high standard and is super stylish. The best thing about our shoelaces in PU material is that they are so easy to keep clean and nice. The shoelaces in PU leather have a glossy surface that is easy to wipe off, if the shoelaces have become dirty during the walk, moisten a cloth/sponge with plain water and wipe the shoelaces clean.

- Washing advice: dampen a cloth/sponge with plain water and wipe the shoelaces if they get dirty. PU shoelaces are easy to keep clean as they have a synthetic surface that is easy to wipe off and does not attract dirt.

The shoelaces are suitable for sneakers, gym shoes, boots, lace-up shoes. However, most fin shoes with laces have a super small eyelet (metal ring) around the lace hole either at the front or back of the lace hole which can make it difficult for the metal tip to go through. There can also be small eyelets on boots, shoes, sneakers, but not as common. If there is no eyelet on the Finnish shoes, it is fine to use these shoelaces BUT Finnish shoes often do not require more than 65-75cm of shoelace, so ours may be a little too long depending on the number of lace holes the Finnish shoes have.
